Maker’s Workshop (2-5)
The STEAM Club is built on the idea that creating and exploring are the roots of innovation! Our Maker’s Workshop embodies this concept to the fullest. Using a wide variety of supplies and tools, your student will create 3-dimensional masterpieces each week. These builds will engage problem-solving skills, engineering concepts and imagination! Your student’s confidence will soar as they turn everyday materials into amazing art! Many projects and concepts are inspired by the latest trends on popular crafting and social media outlets, so our curriculum is fresh and exciting each session!
STEAM ENRICHMENT WEEKLY CLASSES
We aim to SPARK the excitement of young people for ART, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY in a setting that allows them to explore, question, and experiment with fascinating facts, projects and activities. Through discovery based learning, students carry out experiments, engage in team activities, create artistic masterpieces, build and program robots, learn new technologies, and see how art & science works in the real world. Our programs are full STEAM ahead…Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math and designed to inspire future innovators! Students will be completing projects that cover all aspects of STEAM.
GEO STEAM Club (K-5) : In this exciting enrichment class, students will see the world through the scope of a Geographer and Geologist. They will explore well know monuments and places by learning about the geology, environment and culture of those places. Hands-On Lab experiments and Art Projects will give students new insight and understanding of the world around them, while learning to read maps and understand directional relationships between people, landforms and civilization.
Our Art program offers an enrichment and education experience that is second to none. Our Robotic Programs use LEGO® bricks, KNEX, NXT, etc that emphasize a mixture of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and great tools that foster imaginative thinking. Our programs are designed for grades 2-5. Science is, by its nature, inquiry based. Inquiry is an approach to learning that utilizes discovery and scientific thinking processes to explore knowledge and learn skills.
